    Description

    This early 20th century bottle bears the label of Thomas Hogshead, a druggist on Main Street in Staunton, Virginia (his phone number is listed on the label as 641). The bottle stands 7 inches tall and is about 2.5 inches wide at its widest point. There is a little staining of the interior of the bottle, but not much. The label
    measures 2.25 x 1.5 inches. It bears the skull and crossbones poison symbol and was for chloroform liniment. It is in good shape except for a tiny bit of foxing in the lower lefthand corner (see photo).
