    Description

    The item up for sale is a beautiful, vintage Lausitzer Glas Lead Crystal, hand-cut vase made in the German Democratic Republic (1949-1990).  It is a stunning piece made of 24% lead oxyde and featuring a geometric cube-like pattern with hand-tooled, diamond-cut cross lines that appear to be
    frosted
    .
    Based on the information I was able to find, I believe the vase was made in the late 1970's or early 1980's.  It seems to be a rare piece, as I did not come across another like it during my research.
    The vase measures 6" high and approximately 11" around (at the top).  It weights almost 1 1/2lbs. The original label is included, although it is no longer intact.
