Super adorable vintage Goodrich Advertising Tin Box. Patch kit from the early 1900's. Vintage tin box with hinged lid. Box has all over print. Lid reads, "Repair Outfit Goodrich Tires -- Best in the Long Run -- The B. F. Goodrich Company - Akron, Ohio", Lid also has nice silhouette illustration of an early car with trees. Tin is in good used vintage condition, with lots of rust tarnish and patina. Paint chips, scuffs, dents and fading may be present please refer to all pictures for an over all visual description. This is an early rare piece of automotive history. 1920s-30s kit would have carried patches, rubber cement, extra bulbs and what not for roadside repairs. It is rough, but graphics are great for the age. Has a beautiful Rustic style, old with some minor wear from use, aged and storage. Would make a unique cigar box, playing card box, crafting box, a needle and thread box, jewelry storage for rings, earrings, necklaces, bracelets, anklets other accessory items, ect. Or maybe even just used for precious items like rocks, gems, money, stones, crystals, cards, pictures or any kind of random storage box. Seems to be a black and almost light blue color with lots of highly detailed line and criss cross patterns and designs all over and X and G marks. Would be perfect in a bedroom as a jewelry box storage container for accessories items. Would even be cute in a bathroom holding a satchel of potpourri, scented beads or other scented objects. Would make an excellent gift for a collection or collector of car memorabilia. Perfect for a shop or garage or even used as a small handyman toolbox for tools! Or even as home decor in any room of the house! You could even recycle, upcycle, or repurpose this as part of an art or craft project. Lovely little storage box!
