    Description

This is a 1950's pharmacy prescription bottle made by the Owens-Illinois glass company. It is marked “Duraglas” (in two places) which was a trade name for glass that was made from a formula that was stronger that previous glass mixtures. On the back of this bottle are three i's which tells us that the bottle was meant to hold 3 ounces or 18 teaspoons of the liquid medicine. Other bottles have back markings of one i to 3xvi indicating from 1 ounce to 16 ozs of medicine meant to be in the bottle. This bottle is very clean and damage free and will look and display well. Please refer to the photos for the best look.
Measurements are: 4 ¾” tall to the top of the lid x 1 ¾” w. at the base.
