    Tirpolene was a paint thinner manufactured by Empire Oil Company and sold by Sears, Roebuck and Company during the 1960's. Tirpolene is no long sold as a product. This can is a rarity. Just do a search online and see what you come up with. I came up with very little. The can is in good solid shape for it's age. It has some rust holes on both top and bottom and a few dents and scratches. These just adding to the vintage appeal of the can. The graphics and colors vivid and well composed.
