Vintage 13" Claret Wine Jug/Pitcher w/ Greek Key Silver Lid Plastic Ice Holder

Up for your consideration is this vintage claret wine vessel with a beautiful greek key design on the lid and handle.  The piece was very tarnished when I pulled it out of the box so I know it is silver plate.  The lid has a slot for the plastic ice sleeve (which makes me think it was made after 1945) and the sleeve is complete and intact with no cracks to chips.  The piece has the original rubber gasket to prevent leakage. The vessel is very heavy at about 4 pounds and 10 ounces before packaging. The glass/crystal base weighs in at 3 pounds and 5 ounces alone.  The clear base is ribbed and clear with no chips, defects I can find.  The base is 11 1/8th inches tall without the lid installed.
There are no  no cracks, chip, or repairs.  The piece is not marked in any way that I can find.  I'm in the process of downsizing my many years of collecting.  Please check back often, you never know what I'll come across next that you must have!   I do combine ship for buyers that would like other items in my store. I package all items in recycled peanuts and bubble wrap.  All items are well protected. I will be responsible to file all breakage claims and paperwork.  The buyer will provide photos of the box, label and the damaged item on notification of breakage.  Save all items (Including packing material, box, and items broken and unbroken) you may be required to present them during the claim process with the post office.
I do combine ship as long as I feel the pieces will not be compromised.
If you are making multiple purchases that are not free shipping please wait for me to invoice you.  There is a fee placed on postage paid by the buyer from eBay.  I'm trying to keep cost down for the buyer and myself.
International customers:
I do not offer free shipping to international purchases.  I use the eBay international shipping service.  I can not adjust the shipping cost, you pay what you see on the screen.  The entire process is controlled by eBay to include the invoicing.  I do not see the invoice.
