Villeroy & Boch Art Deco Jugendstil Secessionist Tray Dresden Saxony Near Mint

For sale here is a truly exceptional ceramic serving tray from the Jugendstil / Art Deco era of Villeroy & Boch of Germany.
Marked with the "Mercury" stamp on the back (1895-1909) this piece screams Art Deco, with its flowing curves and symmetric design.  The outer edge is blue-grey, with a white oval center consisting of flowing grey lines accented with a bright blue.  The pictures show the decorative paint is in high relief from the base.
Measuring 12" by 9" and standing on four ball feet, the back is marked Villeroy & Boch / Dresden / Saxony / 2553A.
Condition is truly wonderful, with no crazing or flaws visible in the ceramic and only slight aging of the metal frame.
