    Description
    : You are looking at a fantastic covered butter dish by Villeroy & Boch in the Alt Amsterdam pattern. This pattern was produced between 1983 and 1997 and has since been discontinued.  This is one of the more unusual pieces - a covered butter dish.  When researching this item, the plate seemed fairly common but not the lid.  Don't let this pass you by!
    Condition
    : This butter dish is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, or crazing. It has very minor (and expected) wear where the lid sits on the under plate
    .
    Size
    : The plate is 8 1/2 inches by 6 1/8 inches.  The lid is 5 1/4 inches by 4 inches.
    Shipping and Handling
    : Shipping will be by USPS Priority Mail. I carefully wrap any breakable items and ship all items in plenty of packing material (packing peanuts for breakable items and tissue/newspaper for unbreakable items).
