VEXTA PH265-01 STEPPING MOTOR Two Phase 1.8 Deg. per Step 6V 0.85A

Description

Here is an old stepping motor, untested, strictly as-is.  What I know about this is that my dad is a retired engineer that designed and built machinery about 20-30 years ago, and this was in some stuff he had when downsizing a few years ago.  I don't know if this is still good, or not.  I had thought that if the wires from a stepper motor were shorted together, the shaft would lock up, but that is not what happens on this.  I found that as wires are shorted together, the shaft will not spin as freely, and I can feel some resistance on part of the rotation, but not all the way around.  Sold strictly as-is.
