Here for auction is this antique Cut Glass Wash Basin Set - pitcher and bowl. It has a classic form and size; the pitcher is approx 12 3/4" high and the basin is approx 17". It's blown glass; the bowl having a rolled rim and pitcher an applied handle. The cut motifs include diamonds, fanning and crosshatching. The pitcher neck has panel-cutting. I believe it is circa  early 20th C, but it's origin and age are unconfirmed. Cut Glass with Scarce Form and Size! This set can be the highlight of a good Cut glass Collection!
Condition:
The p
itcher has slight chip and crack contained in the center bottom. It has a minor annealing imperfection at the base of the handle. It has typical antique surface wear, imperfections, etc. All fairly minor issues and shown in the close-up images; still this Set is in very good condition.
