    Description

This listing is for a complete rug hooking kit designed, assembled and sold by Sharon Perry. It is my own original design and comes with the following:
100% wool fabric strips cut in #8 (1/4")
A  color photo of the finished piece along with the color key
Pattern drawn on cotton monks cloth sealed at the edges to prevent fraying
Easy to follow rug hooking instructions
Cotton  rug binding to finish it off on the back once you have it hooked
The only other items you will need are a hooking frame and a hook. I started off with a quilting hoop and did several rugs on that before spending more money and getting a floor frame. As for the hook  I have listed  a hardwood and steel for .00 but if you choose the option to buy this kit with the hook the price is reduced to just .50.   This kit when completed measures 12 X 18  inches and would make a great wall hanging, pillow top or table top centerpiece. It is suitable for a beginner or seasoned rug hooker. The wool strips used are mostly hand dyed and very primitive.
The house is hooked with oatmeal heather and trimmed with dyed golden yellow. The clothes on the line are a pretty colorful mix and there are two shades of green for the landscape. The sky is done with a mixture of dyed and as is blues. The trees are done with dyed chocolate plaid, dyed green and a touch of red for berries if you'd like to add them.
