Mettlach Villeroy & Boch 1896 Etched Inlay Lidded 1/2 liter Stein #2282
GERMAN METTLACH CERAMIC STEIN, mold number 2282, having etched sides with scene of man caught drinking in a cellar, ceramic inset metal lid, 1/2 liter size. Impressed "METTLACH / VB" and "GEGEN NACHBILDUNG / GESCHUTZT" marks to base with additional impressed numerals. Late 19th/first quarter 20th century. 8 3/4" HOA.
Excellent condition, only displayed never filled with liquid.
