This is listing is for my new Rev2 Gecko G540 Barebones System. This package features my new
EMI dipped pre-machined enclosure
, and my in house designed power supply featuring
48v 12.5a (600w) output, and selectable 120v/220v input,
and complete cooling system fully built to turnkey fashion allowing you to start making chips as soon as possible if you already purchased your Gecko G540.
Simply attach the 3 wires already included, and labeled for super easy assembly. This means attaching your (power V+, power V-, and E-stop lead to pin 10 on the G540's terminal block) screw in your Gecko with the included 4 screws, and nuts!

The devil is in the details when building your system so please do the math with what's included and you will soon see this is a very complete package for the price. Many vendors are selling 7.3a power supplies with their systems. These power supplies do not allow for 4th axis support with stability.

The system features fuse protected screw cap IEC port, and auxiliary 120v outlet to power other items requiring 120v. The power switch is illuminated to reflect "on" status, and twist, and release E-Stop switch is installed. The system is wired with 16AWG, and (20AWG hand built, and soldered, and insulated full tinned braided copper shielded, and ground drained E-Stop Switch cable for maximum signal protection)

ach terminal component connection is soldered utilizing flux, and then insulated with heatshrink to provide maximum safety, and the lowest electrical resistance

The wires are secured internally with wire ties, and hold downs for optimal airflow.
The enclosure is a full aluminum chassis that's EMI dipped to add an extra level of protection from electrical noise. It features (
1.5mm in panel thickness, and measures 12in L x 12in W x 4in H
) This unit features cooling slots throughout the lid to aid in cooling the system.
This package also includes the complete cooling system for your G540 which includes our Avvid Thermalloy
custom heatsinks ,

The cooling system installed in this system allows for removal of the Gecko WITHOUT having to remove the fan or, heatsinks for ease of maintenance. Unscrew 4 screws, and the Gecko is out!.
The Gecko must be cooled in an enclosure to prevent overheating, and possible damage. Refer to this link to review Gecko's Heatsink Experiment

Also included to complete this barebone package is 3 of my new 13ft DB9 20awg Pro-
double shielded motor cables
with completely molded DB9 Male/Female ends with gold plated pins. These are manufactured using commercial rated signal cable for the best quality, and flexibility utilizing PVC casings that are rated to 300v voltage, with a temperature rating of 80c.

This package is then completes with a Tripp Lite  IEC power cord with lifetime warranty, and DB25 Parallel Male to Male cable.
The pictures directly reflect that all details were covered. This system wad designed for to support the professional, and everyone else in between at a cost that's less than you purchasing the items separately anywhere, and fabricating it yourself using the same components, when factoring in your required labor.
The typical build lead time is no more than 10 days, however at certain times can exceed 13 days. I refuse to neglect quality in order to make sales.  Please consider this prior to ordering. Each system is fully tested and calibrated prior to shipment. This is a completely hand-built system with full solder/flux connections throughout.
