    Description

    This auction is for an antique one gallon, flat style oil can made by the St. Louis Can Company for the Emery Mfg. Co. of Bradford, PA. It is labeled "EMCO Auto Oil" and it is in good original, as-found condition. I wiped the heavy oil and dust off of the top, but did not clean the sides. It looks like there is an over all layer of shop grime and it is a little oily to the touch. The bottom has a dent and the handle is a little bent. One side has the words, "New Oil" scratched into the top, but it looks like it was done many years ago. The spout is marked with a patent date from 1917. No reserve auction.
