Up for bid are nine (9) old bottles which I found at the estate sale of a lifelong collector. I have not washed nor cleaned any of them. The collector apparently did only a brief, basic removal of loose dirt. From large to small, here goes: (dimensions are height, width, depth.)8-7/8 by 2-15/16 by 1-3/4 in., "Hood's Sarsa Parilla, C.I. Hood & Co., Lowell Mass.", (16) in a circle on the bottom. No cracks, just a very small chip on one bottom
corner.
7-7/8 by 3-5/8 by 2-1/16 in., "Fellows Syrup Of Hypophosphites", No cracks, one 3/8 in. long shallow chip at edge of base.
5-3/4 by 2-7/16 by 1-11/16 in., "Trade [A-B] Mark, Reg. 1893, Ayling Bro's, Chicago", also smaller "Trade [A-B] Mark" on front and rear upper shoulder of bottle. No cracks or chips.
5-3/4 by 1-7/8 by 15/16 in., "Dr. S. Pitcher's Castoria", "A.6." on bottom. No cracks or chips.
5-9/16 by 1-15/16 by 1 in., "Dr. Bell's Pine Tar Honey, The E E Sutherland Medicine Co., Paducah KY"., No cracks or chips.
5-1/2 by 1-15/16 by 1 in., "Dr. D. Jayne's Tonic Vermifuge, 242 Chest St. Phila", "24" on bottom. No cracks or chips.
5-1/8 by 1-15/16 by 1-1/4 in., "Sewing Machine Oil", "B" on bottom. No cracks or chips.
4-1/4 by 1-1/4 by 5/8 in., "Dr. King's New Discovery H.E. Bucklen & Co. Chicago, Ill.", "6" or "9" on bottom. No cracks or chips.
3-1/4 by 1-3/8 by 7/8 in., "C.C. Webster Druggist Staunton, Ill." No cracks or chips.
I am not a bottle collector, have done no research on these, and have no knowledge of their value. Those of you that know old bottle values may find a few good ones in the lot!
