PROVENANCE/ATTRIBUTION: the Webb Corbett crystal works went by different names prior to the 1930's, at which time, the Webb Corbett name was registered. It is believed that Webb Corbett did not use acid etched marks on their glass prior to the 1930's.
The stemware in this auction has been checked by a well known glass expert and he has attributed these stems to Webb Corbett circa 1920's-1930's. The Appraisal Certificate indicates that these are in the manner of Webb Corbett. However, we cannot guarantee the maker/pattern - but, we do guarantee these to be high quality engraved lead crystal glasses.
PRICING GUIDELINES: a set of 6 of the water goblet shape/size were submitted to VALUEMYSTUFF for an online appraisal and we received an Appraisal Certificate indicating that the auction value of each goblet is - and the insurance value per goblet is 0.
This shape/blank stem is shown on the Websites of the Crystal Replacements Services as one of the blanks made by Webb Corbett and although many rock crystal floral engravings are pictured on this blank, the engraving on our glasses is not shown. Further, in checking Ebay's 3 month history and Worthpoint's 13 year history, we couldn't find any sales of this shape Webb Corbett glass with the exact floral engraving. Please check out these websites.
